Kimiko is doing a small silver clay finger print demo every day at 10.15am. I will be going thought the simple basis of Silver Clay, so you can learn how to capture your loved ones pinkie- prints and how to add names and dates to your charms.

Afterwards there will be time for you to make your own charm (tools are available for your use). You can use your own finger prints or bring along a little one. Note that the prints of children under the age of two can be very faint.

At long last I have been able to open my purpose-built studio, located in the garden of my house. After starting Moro Silver in 2009 the business outgrew the converted room inside the house I had been using and I decided to invest in a new dedicated studio building. This is now open for business, and has the following advantages:

· Light and airy accommodation with beautiful views into the garden;

· Fully equipped for designing and making silver clay jewellery;

· Off-road parking for up to five cars;

· Internet equipped;

· Tea and coffee making facilities.

Bronze Clay

I am pleased to announce that I have recently started to work with Bronze Clay as well as the existing Silver Clay.

Although Bronze Clay is a more challenging material to work with than Silver Clay, the results are fascinating due to the differing textures and colours you can develop from the finishing process. This can lead to pieces that have an ancient appearance, as if they were worn by someone from the Bronze Age, or if they are polished finely they look similar to 9kt gold. I will be offering courses on working with Bronze Clay in early 2009, as well as selling my own individually designed pieces. For more information on the Bronze Clay collection please contact me.
